A little Dijon mustard and lettuce are all these flavorful burgers need.
1 1/4 pounds lean ground beef
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, or 1 tablespoon dried basil
3 tablespoons drained and chopped oil-cured sun-dried tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
In a medium bowl or pot, mix together meat, egg, garlic, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Form mixture into 4 1-inch thick patties.
Grill burgers over medium-high heat, about 4 minutes per side, until cooked to desired doneness.
Serve burgers on toasted buns with desired garnishes.
